How big is your Christmas?

A bow should feel at home in its space. Here’s a starting point for finding the right proportions.

Measure the moment

Measure the space your bow will sit in, including room for the tails. Cut a piece of paper to the proposed width and length and hold it in position. Take a step back: can you see the bow clearly, and does the space around it still feel balanced?

On a door, leave the handle, lock, letterbox and any viewing panel clear. On a tree, check that the chosen branch can support the decoration. Final bow weights and fixings will be confirmed with the collection.

A little care goes a long way

Until fabric-specific instructions are available, keep the bows dry, gently dust them and avoid washing or ironing. Store loosely in a roomy box so the loops and tails are not crushed. Keep fabric decorations away from open flames and direct heat.

For outside, think sheltered

The preview fabrics are not advertised as weatherproof. Use inside or in a sheltered, dry location and bring the bow indoors if it may get wet. We’ll add any outdoor suitability information when the final fabrics are selected.
